Brilliant copper color. Caramel,golden raisin, light anise, and other brown spice aromas. A very supple entry leads to a plush dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full bodied palate with buttered caramel, dried apple and pear, and refined spices. Finishes with a toffee spice fade and a slightly numbing, wave of white pepper. Very nice texture and balanced flavor with a rather hot finish. |
