The young footballer who plays in the right back and right of the middle had risen to the Bursaspor A Team. He earned the youngest player in the Super League title when he played in the Beşiktaş-Bursaspor Turkcell Super League match in November 2006 at the age of 16.

Serkan Kurtuluş has played 5 times in the U-15 , 17 times in the U-16, 17 times in the U-17, 4 times in the U-18, 6 times in the U-19 and once in the A-2 national team.

Serkan has signed a contract with Galatasaray in September 3, 2008, that will be valid until 2013.
