Buddha Bar, famous for its customers and sumptuous decor, initiates businessmen and connected young people of Paris to all the new electronic sounds. Claude Challe, the DJ behind the project recalls in this luxury double CD the slackened atmosphere of an already mythical bar. Disc one, Buddha's Dinner is inspired by the Eastern musical universe and invites the listener to concentrate quietly on the good company which surrounds them. Disc two, Buddha's Party pushes the guests between the tables and even towards the dance floor on a vibe more reminiscent of Faithless, Kevin Yost or the excellent Anima Sound System. These two-and-a-half hours of planning and light music will leave any listener with more than a taste of happiness.
