Experiencing a night at Alton House Hotel is like going back in time 20-30 years. The building is very old but well maintained. The rooms are not small but you can hear everything your neighbors do (yes even talking on the phone). The breakfast, which is included, is not very rich. It consists in some ham, cheese fruits and yogurt. You can also get a full English breakfast but for a charge of 10 pounds.
