The 18-hole Championship course was designed by Michigan’s premier Architect, Bruce Matthews III. The 6802 yards, par 71 course is rated at 134/73.4. It was planned, designed and built to USGA specifications, with the goal of operating it as one of the best golf courses in the Southeast Michigan and Southern Ontario region. Architect Matthews designed four individual courses with one tract, to provide a superior golfing experience for every level of skill, from beginner to professional. Juniors, women, seniors and scratch golfers all have a top level course to test and enjoy.

Opened for play in 2003, the Championship 18 combines two different golf course styles into one, according to Matthews. Both nines start and end in the midst of beech, oak, and maple trees common to North American parkland-style golf. The middle holes of each nine traverse rolling fairways interspersed with bunkers and flanked by long grasses and water… a fitting homage to the links style of Scotland’s golf. The course is a pleasure to walk, with picturesque fairways, impeccable greens, naturally preserved woodlots and wetlands, and of course, the seven lakes. Players enjoy a comfortable 4h30m pace of play.

Originally built in 1970 by Robert Williamson, the Original 9-Hole Old Course has been totally redesigned and renovated to match the quality, look, and feel of the new championship course. It features 9 majestic holes with maple, elm, and, poplar tree-lined fairways, as well as undulating greens and a natural wetland to challenge your game. It is currently enjoying renewed interest from players of all ages and skill levels.
