My favorite book of all time (along with 'The bastard of Istanbul' from Elif Safak). I didn't want the book to end. I was truly sad when I finished it. It was a joy to read it from the beggining. Zadie Smith is genius and this is her first book. It deserves all the awards and honors it got. The story just sucks you in and makes you feel like a part of that world. I didn't get bored at all... not even for a split second when I was reading. I'd recommend it to everyone who likes to read. |
