Elif Safak is absolutely genius! This was the first book of hers that I read. I immediately became her fan and wanted to read her other books. I just kept reading and reading, I didn't want to stop. Very exciting. Makes you wonder about many things. There is fantasy-fiction parts and it's also informative about some historical facts that we were not taught in school. It's a shame she was prosecuted because of this book. I read it in Turkish. But it was written in english then traslated by Elif Safak and another person to Turkish later. I want to read in english too. |
