It is one of Canada's Big Five banks, being the second largest bank in the country by assets (October 31st, 2007) (behind RBC), and the third largest in market capitalization behind Royal Bank of Canada and Scotiabank. TD ranks number 95 on the Forbes Global 2000 list (2008 edition). TD is currently ranked 2nd in Market Capitalization (October 15, 2008).
